I created the show art and logos for more than 30 shows at the theatre. I would read the script, and then pitch upwards of 18 sketches before completing the final vector graphic. Sometimes I would need do photo shoots with the actors. The final art would then be used in other marketing pieces.

I was solely in charge of the branding and design of all the graphics and collateral for three annual Galas, each of which raised about $300,000. 

The Fourth Wall Bar and Café, located inside the theatre, needed an editable powerpoint template to display their menu on the tv screen behind the counter. Powerpoint presentations were made to inform patrons of the cast and creative team behind each production, as well as for way-finding and other information about the theatre.

Visually arresting and informative graphics were needed across all of the theatre’s social media platforms to generate interest in the current play. They also were used to quickly relay information to our patrons.

Here are some examples of brochures that were mailed or distributed at the theatre. I designed mail-pieces that were sent to past, present, and potential theatre-goers to let them know of what’s currently playing on stage. Postcards also helped the development department stay connected with donors.

Making print and digital ads for various outlets is a big and part of the in-house designer’s job at the theatre. The ads helped increase subscribers, spur on ticket sales, assist with fundraising, and increase registrants to our education programs. Below is a small sample. These window clings were a part of the theatre that changed with each show, in order to provide dramaturgical insight to patrons before the show.  The following wallpaper provided a brief biography of the playwright, and was yet another part of the interior of the theatre that changed for each show to elevate audience experience. 

These letters/forms to patrons were redesigned to be more visually appealing and easier to fill out, and helped increase the direct response rate.
